Memories and Experiences are important moments that have shaped your vampire, crystallized in writing. They make up the core of the vampire’s self—the things they know and care about. An Experience is a particular event; a Memory is an arc of Experiences that are tied together by subject or theme.

Ravenona, the Queen. The Scribe. She has shown me world beyond our borders thru her books and poems. Vast histories are brought to her in leather tomes. When I read them with her, there is peace.
Today she found me. Mother. The Queen has conscripted someone to locate me. She knew I was wandering amongst the Vistani. We met along the Tser River, too long since I have seen the finery of my former life, I was embarrassed to be in her presence. She gave me quill and a tome. She said to write and she would hear in her dreams…
She has returned to me mother, Sergei’s betrothed, my beloved Tatyana. She is real, her visage is true and her likeness, that which I have gazed upon for centuries has returned to me. I have a chance to do it over, will this break the curse? Will I be able to live again? I have commanded the castle to be rebuilt. I will name it for you: Ravenloft.
Errors and Mistakes
The sun was allowed through the Mists. She is toying with me. Forcing me back towards my parents. Back to the Castle. If not for Imelda, sweet child, I would not had made it back to safety. I need permanence. And she knows it.
I almost died today. Paladins of Holy might and glorious purpose came for me. An Order. What is this that she sends through the Mists? Godly champions wielding Sunlight?
Imelda. At 30 she is dead. A more loyal and caring confidant I could not have asked for. She has helped shape the village for me. Brought life and memories for me. Now a sloppy mistake killed her. And a worse one I have cursed her. Now she haunts this land with me. A vampire bride. The first of many I fear.
For 2 decades Imelda has killed and terrorized the lands. She embodies my worst bloodthirsty cravings. Unlike me the souls and memories are not her goal, but blood and death. Will she ever change? What lies ahead for me? I write this now as she brings me, travelers, from a far land…ones that came here looking for Strahd, the Devil of Barovia. They will suffer!
A New Barovia
The times are changing, there are domains nearby through the Mists. Other lords, travel becomes possible for some. The Vistani are wandering and mapping these other lands. New options exist, access to knowledge, culture, and new blood. Barovia begins to have guests, many of them will never leave…
Thru the Mists
I found a way out. I traveled to Harmonia. Darkon. This whole damned place is demiplane of dread and terror. I am not the only monster, but now all of Barovia knows me for the devil I am. I will become someone new, a Count. A worldly lord. They will all fear me. Even if they cannot
Understand me. My mind sees into their mind. My eyes speak to their souls.
Slumbers
I awaken to find a century has passed. As I return to Barovia all those of mortal life are gone. What have I been robbed of? Pain, torture, love? I seek out Tatyana, but I find her nowhere.
I feel I am drifting and floating through the years. I cannot even tell when I miss time any more. All I crave is newness. New challenges and contests. New challengers. A monster I truly am, timeless and dangerous.
I awaken to find that Imelda has a brood of vampires of her own. She sees herself a master vampire now. She wants my blessing and my betrothal. Can I marry? What does it mean? Are we not bound already?
Relics of Ravenloft lost 38
I gather what has been lost. The tomes, swords, and known dead of Barovia. I build a great library in the castle. I fill the halls with symbols of heroes and relics of the past. My parents are enshrined in the crypts below. Along with Sergei.
Silver Dragons
An order has risen. Knights take residence in Barovia. In a Valley nearby. They bring new power and recognition to the land. We must challenge them. The seek Sergei’s blade, I must destroy it.
